I created a new page for the grade 8 visit that has the handout and our activity on it:

I just wanted to send out this reminder to students that I have a Stuff I'm Working On page that may be of interest. I've added some PD materials to the page as well as mentioned a new programming language (Processing) I'm excited about that has been installed on all your computers.

I don't have access to some of your ePortfolios. Please make sure your ePortfolio is listed here (sign-in req'd) and that it's shared with me (as editor). Thanks.

I think we're going to run out of time in the morning classes to do the Cool Tech presentations, so I'm adapting the requirements a little.

Instead of sending a short email to the class email list just a few details and a link and doing a presentation, I'd like you to just send an email with the following:

- an explanation of the Cool Tech item,
- a link to the website where your classmates can find more information, and
- an explanation of why you chose that item.

Spelling and grammar with be marked in this email, as well as compliance with the items listed above.

The deadline for this assignment is end of class this Friday.

Note: For the grade 12's, you are still obligated to create a Google Presentation, but you won't be presenting it to the class, only sharing it online.

Some of you still haven't done or shared some of the assignments that are done in Google Docs. To make it easy for you, I'm providing links to the ones I'm concerned about:

Checking out the C++ tutorials was interesting but then I discovered Processing!
