The grade 12's have their independent project detailed in an online weekly journal that they can show you. The journal should include a plan for what they intend to do and their status. They should be staying on task with this project. If they are not on task, please record this as it will affect their mark.
Period 3 - TIJ1O
The first priority is to finish as much as possible of their Electrical Safety package, including the Tina activity (there is a handin folder) and Shop Safety Internet Search activities.
Once that is complete the students can work on the 2010_03_Aquarium SketchUp tutorial.
If they finish all of that they can work on the "2010_06_CheeriosBox_PC.pdf" SketchUp tutorial and their Cool Tech assignment.
Period 4 - ICS3U/3C/4U
The grade 12 students are to be working on their Python Video Tutorials and Python challenges. They have been briefed and should easily be able to stay on task.

Everyone is working on independent projects. If they complete their first project they are to submit details of a 2nd project.
For the grade 11's, there is a planning document (sign-in req'd) that should be used to record the details of their project (planning notes, status, etc.). Everyone should be working on their project, and should not be on Facebook or other personal sites. YouTube is okay as long as it's related to their project (ask to see their project information in the document above).

Hand out the "Safety Word Search" and "Safety" handouts to the students (on my file cabinet). These are to be completed after the floor plan assignment.
Floor Plan Assignment - Some students still owe me their map assignment. It is to be handed into the following folder:

SketchUp Poster Assignment- ...is named "2009_09_Poster.pdf" and can be found in the following folder:

...and is to be submitted to the following folder:
SketchUp Dice Tutorial - ...is named "2010_10_Dice.pdf" and can be found in the same folder as the previous tutorial. Once done, it is to be submitted to the following folder

If they finish that too then they can work on the "2010_06_CheeriosBox_PC.pdf" SketchUp tutorial and their Cool Tech assignment.

For the grade 11's, if they say their project is done (doubtful) and handed in then they can work on the Tree in Niagara Falls assignment or their Cool Tech assignment. If a grade 12 says their project is done then they can start on a 2nd independent project by documenting it in their journal.
