If you have any questions about the following, please email me or fill in the comment box and I will try to respond as quickly as possible. Everyone should stay on task!

If students need to leave class, please ask them to fill in the Time Tracker at the bottom of their online daybook.

Period 2 - TGJ3M, TGJ4M

The priorities for the grade 11's are:

  1. Photography Activity Packs

    1. Photowalk Assignments (numerous!)

    2. Final projects

The grade 12's are working on their independent projects. Please remind them to update their journal.

Please remind the students to push in their chairs at the end of class!

Period 3 - ICS3C/3U/4U

The priorities for both grades are:

  1. String Assignments

    1. Programming Challenges (The students are encouraged in work in groups to solve these challenges)

  2. App Inventor

    1. Final Projects

Please remind the students to push in their chairs at the end of class!

Period 4 - TGJ2O

The priorities for the grade 10's are:

  1. Photowalk Assignments (numerous!)

  2. Earth Day Video

    1. The files can be found in O:\Beens\Earth Day 2013 Raw Video\WMV. If you have a "V" drive on your computer, I would highly recommend copying them to there to do this project.

    2. Use a copy (File > Make a copy...) of this Google Spreadsheet (sign-in req'd) to make a list of the video excerpts you want to use in your video.

    3. Use Windows Move Maker (or iMovie, for the students on the Mac) to create "excerpt videos" that will be used to make the final video later. If you are unsure of how to use Movie Maker, here are a series of tutorials: http://www.atomiclearning.com/moviemaker2.

    4. Final projects.

Please remind the students to push in their chairs at the end of class and turn off all the computers!
