Coverage for 2013-10-24

If students need to leave class, please ask them to fill in the Time Tracker at the bottom of their online daybook.

Period 1 - TIJ1O Exploring Technologies

The priorities are:

  1. There is an update for the Egg Drop report -- "Project Purpose"

  2. Complete all outstanding assignments:

    1. Your First 2D Drawing (SketchUp)

    2. Print and complete the Safety Crossword.

    3. Technology Scavenger Hunt

    4. Technology Wordfind Assignment

      1. Egg Drop Report (link on Daybook)

  3. Start researching Mouse Trap Cars

At the end of class, please remind the students to log out of their computers and push in their chairs.

Period 2 - TGJ3M, TGJ4M Communications Technology

The priorities for the grade 11's are:

  1. Multiplicity

  2. Repair Portrait Photo

  3. Colour in a B&W World

  4. Pareeerica

    1. Cool Tech assignment.

The grade 12's are working on their independent projects. Please remind them to update their journal and submit their progress at least weekly.

At the end of class, please remind the students to push in their chairs.

Note: please do not mark Drew R absent. He is on this class list but comes in period 4.

Period 3 - TEJ2O Computer Technology

The priorities are:

  1. Computer Scavenger Hunt

  2. Turing Graphics

  3. Digital Overdrive - Basic Computer Concepts

  4. CS Unplugged

  5. If complete, do the Networking section in Digital Overdrive.

At the end of class, please remind the students to push in their chairs and turn off all the computers.
