If students need to leave class, please ask them to fill in the Time Tracker at the bottom of their online daybook.

Period 1 - TIJ1O Exploring Technologies

The students will be with Mr. Harshaw this morning.

The priorities are:

  1. Finish Mousetrap Car SketchUp model. Ensure there are dimensions shown for all objects, that is drawn to scale, and that all objects are labelled.

  2. Mousetrap Car Assignment

  3. Start working on your Mousetrap Car report, using the egg drop report as the starting point.

At the end of class, please remind the students to log out of their computers and push in their chairs.

Period 2 - TGJ3M, TGJ4M Communications Technology

Today's class is cancelled.

The priorities for the grade 11's are:

  1. Process Photowalk Pictures

    1. Hand in raw renamed 1024 pics

    2. tag in Picasa

    3. Process in Picasa, Photoshop, etc.

  2. Favourite Flickr Photographs

  3. Artist Profile

  4. 2nd Cool Tech assignment.

The grade 12's are working on their independent projects. Please remind them to update their journal and submit their progress at least weekly.

At the end of class, please remind the students to push in their chairs.

Note: please do not mark Drew R absent. He is on this class list but comes in period 4.

Period 3 - TEJ2O Computer Technology

Half the class will be working with the peer tutor on robotics.

The other half are to carry on with the activities in the Arduino workbook.

  4. If not already done, Finish theory portion of Petruzella 1-1 Safety Activity Pack (see link on daybook and in email). An updated resource has been emailed to the students.
