Requirements:

• • must be based on an existing floor plan (20%)

  • must include:

    • 2 or more bedrooms, with closets and suitable furniture (10% per bedroom)

    • ensuite bathroom for master bedroom (10%)

    • walk-in closet for master bedroom (5%)

    • kitchen, with suitable furniture (if there is no dining room, be sure there is adequate room in the kitchen for an eating area) (10%)

    • living room, with suitable furniture (10%)

    • common bathroom (10%)

    • front entrance (5%) and back entrance (5%), with at least one entrance closet (5%)

    • attached garage (10%)

    • landscaping (10%)

    • a roof (5%)

    • appropriate windows (5%) and doors (5%)

    • an imported (personal) photograph, either used as a table-top photo (in frame), a wall painting, or the screen of a television (5%)

  • interior walls must be 5" wide; exterior walls must be 8" wide (10%)

  • walls must be 8' high (5%) (ask for an exemption if your design requires something different)

  • must use architectural units, set to inch precision (not less) (5%)

  • the following items must each be on their own, appropriately named, layer: floor plan, walls, furniture, roof, landscaping, windows & doors (together) (10%)

    • If your design has two levels, separate the 2nd floor components onto their own layers (e.g., walls2, windows&doors2, floor2, furniture2, etc.)

Will be marked for:

• • completeness (100%)

  • aesthetics (10%)

  • fit and finish (10%)

  • accuracy (10%)

  • realistic dimensions (10%)

  • dimensioned according to floor plan (10%)

  • daily updates (50%)
